The primary role of a Principal, Product Marketing Manager within Amazon's Cross-Devices Marketing organization is to invent and optimize new products and features on behalf of customers: working cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, developing marketing plans to drive awareness and adoption, segmenting customers and developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, managing strategic projects, and being the business owner of the product. From Day 1, Product Marketing Managers are given ownership of large products; the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions; and the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience and the business. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable thinking strategically, generating innovative ideas for growth, as well as ensuring tactical level details are executed. They will have deep experience in consumer product marketing and merchandising, demonstrated ability to drive website optimization and conversion in both mobile and online channels. The ideal candidate will embody a positive, high-energy, results-oriented culture in her/his team. They will know how to manage multiple milestones and shifting requirements in a fluid, fast-moving environment. They will have strong communication skills to lead executive interactions and to influence a broad set of technical and non-technical stakeholders. The position is based in Seattle, covering the North America region. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research MBA Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
