Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to lead the design and development of mechanical rooms, piping systems, and other components associated with industrial refrigeration systems for cold storage warehouses. The ideal candidate will possess strong engineering principles and experience in mechanical and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of mechanical rooms, rooftop penthouses, piping systems, and other components associated with industrial refrigeration systems for cold storage warehouses.
  • Perform advanced engineering calculations for system design, including tolerance dimensions, thermal analysis, and structural considerations.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with company procedures, industry regulations, and client standards.
  • Review and submit detailed drawings to upper management, fabrication teams, and construction teams for approval.
  • Provide technical support during the building and installation process to ensure systems are built according to design specifications.
  • Build Bills of Materials (BOM) for each design and input data into the ERP system.

Essential Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical system design.
  • Professional experience with AutoCAD or other CAD programs (e.g., the person, SolidWorks).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
