A high energy, sustainability focused, architecture firm focused on helping to solve the housing crisis is looking for a Senior Designer in their Oakland office. This firm has been recognized for their industry leading expertise in master planning and design for a variety of multifamily, hospitality and mixed-use projects. The Senior Designer will have strong design and technical skills, plus 5 years of dedicated experience in Multi-family and Mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Quickly generate concepts for Multi-family Mixed-use projects, through hand sketching and digital media
- Act as go-to person on high level technical/ CAD skills
- Create and give presentations to firm leaders, clients, and team members
- Demonstrate passion for design and take leadership over projects
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
- Proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
- 5+ years experience in Multi-family and mixed-use projects
- Strong design and planning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of California building code
