The Massachusetts General Hospital Development Office seeks a Digital Producer for a 6-month contract position covering a parental leave (April-September 2025). The Digital Producer reports to the Senior Director of Digital Communications and also works in close partnership the Senior Director of Digital Marketing.

The Digital Producer is an integral member of the Development Office’s digital marketing program and plays a critical role in producing digital marketing campaigns, managing digital assets and content, and developing marketing automation workflows. The Producer works closely with the Communications team to translate content and requirements into effective marketing, using marketing automation and website management tools.

The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing automation, web publishing, and email marketing tools, and possess high level of creativity, initiative, and energy. Experience with basic video editing is a plus but not required. The candidate will also be an exceptional individual contributor as well as a team player with a strong sense of professional ethics, and the ability to work effectively in a large, complex, dynamic, and sophisticated organization.

Primary Responsibilities Utilize the department’s template library to produce email marketing including e-newsletters, solicitations, announcements, and other email campaigns in Marketo Produce web content in WordPress including landing pages, product listings and other content, as needed Perform QA and cross-browser and cross-platforms testing for email, landing pages, event pages, posts and forms Customize emails based on content needs and utilizing templates Create online donation and other forms, set up confirmations Manage and produce reporting and data exports from Marketo and WordPress and collaborate with the Information Management team on reporting and analytics Ensure that web and digital marketing materials comply with all brand and style guidelines, serve as a final check on all web and email content produced by others; ensure technical accuracy of web and other digital content; perform W3C validation and cross-browser testing Ensure that all images are properly formatted and optimized for the web Participate in website testing after deployments and troubleshoot technical issues with the website and perform quality assurance checks to ensure a consistent user experience for donors, prospects, and other website visitors. Communicate status of tasks and assignments via project management tools including Microsoft Teams, Basecamp and Asana In coordination with the Senior Director of Digital Communications and Senior Director of Digital Marketing, respond to new project requests and evaluate the appropriate solution needed Participate in weekly planning calls and other meetings as appropriate and work with members of the Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC) Team to ensure timely completion of projects and accurate deadline management.

Qualifications A minimum of 3-5 years related technical experience required; experience in technology and interactive marketing required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Previous contract experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills, abilities, and competencies: Experience with email marketing tactics and managing email marketing campaigns in Marketo Experience with content management systems and ecommerce platforms especially WordPress Proficient with HTML/CSS and well versed in modern web site publishing practices using a CMS, comfortable hand coding Experience with basic video editing Knowledge of interactive marketing technologies and strategies and innovations Strong writing and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Ability to set priorities and manage multiple deliverables Ability to multi-task and stay organized Ability to complete work with minimal oversight
