Gas Marketer – Southeast Markets
will be responsible for originating and managing commercial relationships with natural gas customers across the Southeast US. The primary focus will be developing and executing sales strategies to market physical natural gas supply to a range of counterparties, including
municipalities, retail users, commercial entities, and industrial customers . This individual will leverage existing relationships and build new ones to drive revenue and expand the company’s footprint in the Southeast region.
Business Development & Origination Develop and execute strategies to market physical natural gas to
municipal utilities, retail end-users, commercial accounts, and industrials . Identify new customer opportunities across the Southeast region, focusing on markets in
Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, Tennessee, and surrounding states . Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across customer types, including
procurement teams, energy managers, and city officials . Structure competitive and creative supply solutions tailored to customer needs, including
fixed price, index price, term supply, and basis-specific deals . Negotiate contract terms and coordinate with legal and credit teams to ensure transactions meet internal risk standards.
Market Analysis & Strategy Monitor regional market dynamics, pipeline infrastructure, supply/demand fundamentals, and regulatory developments that impact gas marketing in the Southeast. Collaborate with trading and supply teams to optimize supply sourcing, pricing, and delivery strategies. Provide regular feedback to internal trading, supply, and risk teams to help inform trading and asset optimization strategies in the Southeast.
Customer Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering high-quality service, timely market updates, and responsive support. Track and analyze customer usage patterns, procurement preferences, and evolving needs to anticipate future opportunities. Coordinate with scheduling, accounting, and operations teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
