We are looking for a leader who can design and implement campaigns that accrue to inspirational, engaging and innovative Windows device purchase experiences, especially among market segments that have growth potential and focus, e.g. Copilot+ PC’s. The Partner Marketing Manager for Samsung will report to the GDP (Global Device Partners) Marketing Director and work closely with the Samsung Account Lead and the GDP regional marketing managers. JOB SCOPE Work with Samsung’s mobile devices (MX) division on the implementation and adoption of key Client product / marketing strategies leading to an aligned WW marketing plan, and manage / maximize the impact of Client marketing investments for consumer and commercial segments based on that WW Marketing plan supporting business objectives, priorities and KPI’s across Windows and M365 product portfolios. The role will influence, prepare and manage the allocation of shared marketing funds (JMA) and ensure efficient and timely allocation by country with accountability for optimization and effectiveness and adherence to agreed ROI and compliance guidelines. In collaboration with the regional Marketing Operations vendors, the Marketing Manager will (pre-) approve local PO’s, ensure appropriate POE and drive reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES Planning Support and influence the design of the partner marketing plan for Windows devices at the regional and subsidiary level, understanding the worldwide and regional competitive landscape Define and appropriately communicate the Client device marketing priorities and plans for Samsung devices - inclusive of supporting product launches, new channels or methods of distribution, marketing campaigns / initiatives and aligned with Windows Category (RMI investments) and other key stakeholders. Plan for, and manage all budgetary marketing spend in the regions. Cross Group Collaboration Work closely with local contacts (marketing managers, channel executives) in both Samsung and Client to manage investments and campaigns. Be the partner advocate for Samsung within DPS and Windows, evangelizing their products, marketing plans, initiatives, and results to cross-organizational stakeholders, as appropriate. Support Samsungs (marketing and sales) in the landing of the programs. Business Operational Excellence Deliver excellence in JMA budget planning and management, owning the rhythm of business checkpoints both internally and externally, and ensure accountability of shared metrics and proactive course correction as needed. Support ROI analysis for the marketing organization and suggest adjustments as appropriate to take advantage of market opportunities. Identify trends in partner and competitor activity to anticipate opportunities or potential risks in order to propose appropriate marketing solutions as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Passion for the mobile device, platform and service world with an understanding of OEM, channel/partner ecosystem, and consumer and commercial channel marketing. Marketing experience in the technology hardware sector, with aptitude for marketing execution, and experience in multichannel marketing with a desire to compete and win with partners and multi-tiered distribution channels. Strong interpersonal and communications skills, executive presence, verbal and written communication ability with requisite skills to partner, collaborate and build relationships with partner accounts, account/segment marketing teams, and Client product/marketing groups. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success as a virtual leader and individual contributor (player/coach). This includes the ability to impact and influence without authority.
