Overview:California’s Great America is seeking a creative with new ideas and ability to make visions come to life Are you passionate about storytelling through video, photography, and graphics? Do you have a knack for writing and a love for all things entertainment? Join our team as a Digital Content Coordinator and help bring the excitement of our amusement park to life across social media, websites and more · Capture the FUN: Asist and or execute in shooting and editing engaging videos and photos of park events and attractions. · Create scroll-stopping content: Asist with designing graphics, brainstorming and creating social media posts, and writing compelling captions, blogs, and web pages. · Collaborate with teams: Partner with marketing and other park departments to uncover fun stories and promote park happenings. · Stay on trend: Develop fresh, creative content ideas that resonate with today’s digital audiences. Hourly Pay: $21.00-$25.00/hr Responsibilities:You’ll have the chance to flex your creative muscles while being part of a team that’s passionate about storytelling and entertainment. Plus, you’ll get hands-on experience learning how to combine business needs with content and earned media efforts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you’re ready to create some buzz, this is the role for you Qualifications:What You’ll Need · Preferred college junior or senior pursuing a degree in digital communications, marketing film or have a minimum of 2-3 years of equivalent hands-on experience through certifications, freelance work, or a professional content creation role. · Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications. · Skills in video production, photography, and editing using tools like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Canva. · Knowledgeable and familiarity with a variety of social media platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and experience in producing platform-specific content (stories, carousels, short-form, long-form, reels, etc.) · A creative eye and a passion for digital storytelling. · Excellent writing skills, accuracy and attention to detail. · Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage projects, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. · Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. · Must pass a drug test and background check if 18 or older, as per company policy. · Availability to work on-site in a fast-paced, fun, and energetic environment. · Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Discovery Kingdom if necessary. · All other duties assigned. s-p-m1 By applying, you consent to your information being transmitted by Monster to the Employer, as data controller, through the Employer’s data processor SonicJobs.
