About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Commercial HVAC Multimedia Instructional Designer specializing in Videography and Animations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, video production, graphic design and animation creation. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to develop engaging and educational multimedia content that enhances commercial HVAClearning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify instructional goals and create multimedia content that aligns with educational objectives.
- Design and produce high-quality instructional videos, animations, and other multimedia materials.
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and production plans to ensure the effective communication of complex concepts.
- Utilize various software tools and technologies to create visually appealing and interactive multimedia content.
- Conduct research on emerging trends and best practices in multimedia instructional design to continuously enhance the quality of content.
- Ensure all multimedia content is accessible, user-friendly, and meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of multimedia materials and make improvements based on feedback and performance data.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce promotional videos and materials when necessary.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 3+ years of experience in Instructional or Multimedia Design
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in Instructional or Multimedia Design
- Proven experience in instructional design, video production, and animation creation.
- Proficiency in multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator), or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent storytelling, scriptwriting, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Experience in creating accessible content that meets ADA compliance standards is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in e-learning development platforms such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for interactive content creation.
- Experience in virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content creation.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for organizing and managing project files and collaboration.
