As part of the team, you will be involved in developing cutting-edge general-purpose robots that are designed to operate in human environments and interact with human tools. These robots are built to work alongside humans, move through human spaces, and manipulate the surrounding environment.


We are looking for a Studio Engineer to help shape the future of robotics. As an integral member of the growing design team, you'll collaborate with designers and engineers across the company to play a pivotal role in bringing the design vision to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Create both aesthetic and functional prototypes, collaborating closely with designers to ensure early models align with design intent and engineering feasibility.
  • Develop and refine CAD designs to move from concept to prototype or production-ready data.
  • Support designers in concept development by conducting range of motion analysis, considering design for manufacturing, evaluating new components and materials, and ensuring a balance between creative vision and technical practicality.
  • Oversee the transfer of data and serve as a liaison between design, engineering, and other cross-disciplinary teams within the company.


Must haves:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, product design engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical design (or a related field), with a focus on prototype development, design progression, and production development.
  • Experience in designing and building physical prototypes.
  • Expertise in CAD software (such as Creo, SolidWorks, Fusion, etc.) and industry best practices for transitioning from concept to prototype and production
  • Strong ability to maintain clear, organized data and documentation.
