My client, a medical device company that develops, manufactures, and sells medical technologies, is looking for a Video Production Specialist for an ongoing contract through September (potential to extend). Full 40 hours a week, hybrid model with 3x a week onsite in Maple Grove Minnesota. 30% travel including weekdays, $45/hr.
BIG PLUS: experience in healthcare and/or cardiology
**Must have a strong portfolio and demo reel showcasing your
video production work.
MUST HAVE:
- Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite - must be expert in
- Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition and Photoshop. This must be present on resume.
About position:
The Video Production Specialist will serve as a key contributor to overall marketing strategy and execution by producing high quality videos for the Cardiology and Peripheral Interventions business units. The person in this role will be regarded as a video and marketing expert. This role will work with cross-functional partners including marketing, medical and scientific affairs,
clinical, sales teams, regulatory, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research, concept, shoot, color correct and edit interactive
multimedia for audiovisual purposes. May assist in writing scripts,
creating illustrations, selecting visual aids, music, and sound
effects, etc. Understanding of video compression and optimization
for different platforms
• Provides creative solutions to problems involved with the design
and production of audio/visual communication materials within
budgetary constraints. Excellent story telling skills with a keen eye
for detail
• Communicate proactively with all stakeholders, including senior
leadership, to ensure understanding, alignment and expectations
are set. Develops strong relationships with these stakeholders
• Educates potential marketing clients about the video production
process by providing specific guidance on the stages of video
production (pre-production, production, post-production), concepting
scripting/storyboarding, deliverables, timeline, budgets and use of
external vendors
• Oversees activities and vendor interactions within the marketing
communications group by prioritizing activities, coordinating
projects, advising staff and vendors.
• Keep abreast of industry standards and trends as related to
responsibilities and identifies new opportunities and methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines,
and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be an ambassador of the brand. Ensures that all external
and internal projects adhere to Boston Scientifics brand standards
as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
• Track and maintain budgets while ensuring cost saving measures;
understand implications on general business management
Requirements for this position:
• On-site 3 days a week; Travel up to 30%, including weekends
• Associates Arts degree or higher; 5+ years of work experience
in video production
• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite - must be expert in Premiere Pro,
After Effects,
Audition and Photoshop. Experience in other video applications is helpful
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras,
lighting, and audio gear
• A strong portfolio and demo reel showcasing your video
production work
