The Employee shall develop graphics material for ITSO communications products. ITSO IMT is responsible for providing the final communication product within the ITSO organization for presentations and printable material. The employee must use their graphics design and technical understanding to create visually appealing and functional graphics, illustrations, and multimedia content that effectively convey complex technical information. This could involve designing user interfaces for creating interactive presentations, developing infographics for data visualization, designing icons and logos, and producing feedback form material. The Employee shall collaborate closely with IT teams, developers, and the HQ Support team to understand project requirements and ensure that graphical elements align with technical specifications and branding guidelines. Additionally, IT graphics specialists shall stay updated on emerging design trends, software updates, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the visual assets produced and contribute to the overall success of IT projects and initiatives.

  • Design, layout, and prepare ITSO presentations.
  • Collaborate verbally and in writing with ITSO members to deliver appropriate graphics that satisfy requirements.
  • Develop logos, icons, and ITSO marketing materials.
  • Maintain a repository of ITSO-related graphics material.
  • Provide written recommendations for graphical elements into Government drafts of executive summaries and briefings.
  • Provide recommendations and input concerning graphical elements into other content and presentations.

Minimum Experience:

  • 7 years' experience developing IT presentation material for technical information (cybersecurity)
  • 10 years' experience working collaboratively with senior and support IT personnel
  • 10 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, PowerPoint Excel, Visio, and Forms
  • Sound foundation in grammar, punctuation, and use of the English language, with emphasis on producing clear, direct prose.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism or a related field required.
  • Additional education or certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, CISSP) in IT/Information Security preferred.
