OVERVIEW
We’re looking for an early career Digital Marketer to join our Growth team.
In this role, you will support a portfolio of initiatives across paid and organic channels to grow pipeline and awareness of Modern Treasury. This is an opportunity to join a world-class marketing organization with the potential for significant ownership, growth, and impact on bottom-line revenue.
Leveraging strong foundations in performance marketing and an interest in mastering organic and other channels, you’ll take ownership of building and executing an experimentation roadmap to unlock new growth opportunities. You’ll help us optimize existing campaigns and explore new channels, driving meaningful pipeline growth and awareness for Modern Treasury.
In this role, you’ll focus on the following areas:
Performance Marketing
Help build the experimentation muscle by developing and executing on a quarterly roadmap of channel and message tests.
Monitor campaign performance, optimize for key metrics, and implement budget adjustments
Track top-performing messages and creative, consistently communicating insights to the broader team
Collaborate with design team to develop compelling ad creative that resonates with our technical audience
Analyze competitor digital strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation
SEO
Learn our content management system (Sanity, Vercel) to build and ship landing pages and SEO tools designed to increase organic traffic.
Work with internal and third-party writers to create and deploy new content and optimize old content.
Conduct keyword research to identify new content opportunities that align with our product offerings
Support the implementation of structured data and other technical SEO elements
Lifecycle Marketing
Orchestrate multi-channel marketing journeys to drive key engagement metrics and pipeline.
Support the development of a cohesive cross-channel messaging strategy
Analyze engagement metrics and optimize campaigns based on performance data
Set up and manage audience segmentation in our marketing automation platform
ABOUT MODERN TREASURY
Modern Treasury is the operating system for money movement. Our payment operations platform combines a suite of APIs and dashboards to help companies unlock new payments revenue, strengthen customer experiences, and drive efficiency through their business. Our end-to-end platform moves enterprises forward with faster payments, efficient workflows, full data visibility, and seamless bank integrations.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of Growth Marketing experience in a start-up environment
Proficiency in LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads (Meta is a plus)
Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
Familiarity with basic SEO principles and a desire to learn more
Excellent copywriting abilities
A mix of creative and analytical energy
Comfortability working across multiple concurrent workstreams
WEEK BY WEEK
During your first week you will:
Onboard with our team
Review calls with customers across different verticals to understand their payment operations challenges
Dive into our market research to develop a deep understanding of our target buyer personas and their needs
Study our industry primers on payment operations, bank integrations, and modern financial infrastructure
Review Modern Treasury’s current and past growth initiatives
During your first six weeks you will:
Develop and present a comprehensive paid media experimentation roadmap for the quarter
Review prospect and customer conversations to better understand our buyer personas and product-market fit
Complete training on our content management system and build your first landing page
Launch your first conversion rate optimization experiment on our website
Analyze our current marketing funnel and conversion metrics across channels
During your first twelve weeks you will:
Design and launch a multi-touch lifecycle marketing campaign targeting a specific customer segment
Present detailed analysis and recommendations from your first round of paid media experiments
Take ownership of our monthly SEO content calendar and publication process
Optimize at least three existing landing pages based on performance data
Begin contributing to our weekly growth team meetings with data-driven insights
Work with the broader marketing team to align digital initiatives with field marketing events
