What We Offer:

  • Pay range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Location: 9036 Calvine Road, Sacramento, CA 95829
  • Hours: 1:45 pm - 5:45 pm

About the Role:

As an instrumental music teacher at Merryhill School, you will have the chance to inspire young learners and cultivate their love for music. In collaboration with classroom teachers, you will enhance the educational journey by integrating music education, including music history and practical skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Planning, supervising, and delivering engaging curriculum for our Preschool classrooms
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow faculty and staff
  • Assisting classroom teachers with rhythm instruments and their application in lessons
  • Introducing students to the world of drumming and other musical instruments

What We Are Looking For:

  • A bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred; a high school diploma is required
  • Experience with guitar is a plus
  • Previous teaching experience with young children is highly preferred
  • This is a Part-Time position that allows for a flexible schedule
