Overview

Responsible for the management of multiple Imaging Department in the Department of Radiology, which includes off-site imaging facilites. Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing education for all Radiology personnel. May provide direction for clinical training of Santa Fe Community College Radiologic Technology program. Assists in both short-term and long-range department planning by analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data. Acts as a liaison with other departments in the hospital and health center. Coordinates and implements projects for the Department of Radiology. Provides administrative support to the Administrative Director of Radiology. Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of a CAHEA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Position requires knowledge of medical imaging procedures and technology standards. A bachelor's degree is required and minimum of 5 years supervisor experience preferred in Medical Imaging, preferably in an academic radiology setting. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or University of Florida Health automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered and licensed Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry Technologist and the State of Florida.
