Marketing Intern Job at MasterCraft Boat Company in Knoxville

MasterCraft Boat is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Content Intern to join our team. As a Marketing Content Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in the boating industry. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to various marketing campaigns and strategies.

Duties Include:

• Reach out to people who have submitted compelling stories for supporting photos and update featured stories on the website.
• Write occasional blog articles for the stellar stories, taking into account SEO.
• Interview local dealers and brainstorm content ideas and content strategy for MasterCraft dealerships; execute with local dealers and build a case study or a “how to” to support the dealer network using local dealer examples.
• Research top searched voice-command queries, YouTube searches, and Google Search phrases related to “how to” or boating-related topics.
• Manage the Knowledge Center to include answers to common inquiries to better connect with customers.
• Support the Marketing Coordinator with managing events and initiatives.
• Creatively brainstorm ideas that connect the factory to the customer in a more meaningful way.

The Essentials:

• Basic understanding of the boating industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Word).
• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Creative and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with an eye for good creative.
• Possess strong writing and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by MasterCraft.
• Must be willing to work in Knoxville, TN.

The Nice To Haves:

• Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
• Experience in the boating industry or knowledge of the MasterCraft brand.
