What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the mission and vision of the University within the Division of Marketing and Communications by producing high-quality print, digital, promotional and advertising materials, writing, editing across media, and contributing to marketing and communication strategies that enhance and define the University's brand, advance University priorities and extend key messages to various constituencies.

An Associate's Degree and two years of relevant work experience is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

  • Generate strategic communications that support University and division priorities and reflects the high-level priorities of school/college/administrative partners for use across a wide range of communications media
  • Implement communication strategies and develop tools, messages, materials and creative solutions that integrate University priorities and advance partner goals
  • Provide project management for assigned projects and partners to support the work of the Division and key partners within the University
  • Coordinate, track, and document the production process for communication materials for President, Provost and University-level initiatives
  • Ensure proper specifications for printing and delivery including sample printed products to stakeholders
  • Write short- and long-form content for the MarCom content management channels, Baylor Magazine, BaylorNews Digest, web and other Division-led communication tools that advance University priorities
  • Assist communication/marketing colleagues and contribute to the overall quality of work of the Division and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support mission Baylor University.
  • Comply with University policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
