Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a Middle School Florida Certified Music Teacher for the 2023-2024 Academic school year. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid Florida Educators certification, be self-motivated and energetic. ESE & ESOL certified a plus. HRCS is seeking applicants with knowledge of State Standards, technology integration, and standard-based instruction. Experience in evaluating, documenting, and communicating individual student growth, differentiation strategies, classroom management and willingness to participate in professional development opportunities, a plus. Applicants must be comfortable in a Catholic faith-based setting with a dedication to the Holy Redeemer Catholic School mission.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Organize and direct lessons and activities related to the standards. Develop and document weekly lesson plans consistent with curriculum guidelines. Provide grade-appropriate instructional music program including engaging and interactive activities/lessons for K-8 students. Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of Holy Redeemer Catholic School and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Be responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management. Assess and document student progress. Implement lesson plans, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge and engage students. Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner. Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development opportunities. Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration. Integrate technology effectively into the classroom. Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from an Accredited College or University. Current Florida Teaching Certificate. Teaching experience preferred. Previous experience in a Catholic school setting is preferred. Requires an appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church.
