Our well Respected client is a stable and growing electrical contractor looking to add an

Electrical BIM Modeler/Designer

to their team.

Responsibilities:

The

BIM Modeler/Designer

provides support for the Field Coordinator, Electrical Systems Designer and ahderes to established standards and workflows by the BIM Manager.

BIM Modeler/Designer

Responsibilities:

Designing layouts for power and low voltage systems, creating and placing annotations (tags, keynotes, dimensions, etc.), managing sheets and revisions, as well as plotting and exporting views/sheets.

BIM Modeler/Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical room layouts.

• Generate families and project content for integration into models by VDC modelers.

• Create designs in AutoCAD or Revit that meet job specifications.

• Oversee project template, blocks, details, and plotting standards.

• Review intricate shop drawings for prefabrication and/or field installation.

• Maintain project drawings and details across addendums, bulletins, etc.

• Construct training guides for various software utilized in the field and office.

BIM Modeler/Designer

Qualifications:

• Possess an Associates Degree in Engineering or Electrical Design.

• Demonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years' proficiency in designing electrical systems using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

• Showcase the ability to independently create electrical room layouts.

• Display comprehension of project schedules and timelines.

• Exhibit knowledge of electrical risers/single-line diagrams.

• Demonstrate familiarity with diverse electrical systems layouts.

• Able to interpret manufacturer's shop drawings and equipment cut sheets
