Job Summary
We are looking to fill an opening due to a retirement, for an experienced, motivated, and highly qualified Music Teacher to join our team.
Start date: 8/15/25
Provide music instruction to elementary-age students, and create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students; motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to learn and advance.

This is a permanent position open due to a retirement. The salary placement on the Certificated salary schedule is dependent on years of work experience in a credentialed teaching position. The maximum initial placement is on column 6, step 7 at $110,978, (excellent earning potential as one advance on the salary schedule), plus an annual advanced degree stipend of $3,100. The District also offers Health and welfare benefits for the employee and their family, including medical, dental, prescription, and vision paid mainly by the District (it may require a small employee contribution).

Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Candidates selected for a second interview will be asked to do a sample lesson with students before advancing to the final interview stage or an offer of employment is made.
