As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you will partner with internal teams and external suppliers to design and produce best in class retail displays. This includes visual space design and product merchandising as well as managing purchasing, manufacturing and distribution of retail graphics and merchandisers to create a best in class shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams from store design, creative, merchandising, retail operations and store procurement teams as well established and new external suppliers

Effectively communicate schedule and cost options as well as trade offs

Shows determination in the face of obstacles and set-backs by acting as a role model with unforeseen changes and rush projects and being flexible with change

Work to clarify situations where information, instructions or objectives are ambiguous by learning to act without knowing all the details and having the ability to act and plan for different scenarios

Design:

Drive results by partnering with merchandising and creative teams and external suppliers to determine the best way to display products; customer wayfinding and product information to deliver best in class client experience

Partner with Retail Operations business partners to estimate store workload and create store communication that enables field teams to flawlessly execute product displays

Frequently visit our client’s store and other retailers to grow and maintain up to date knowledge of best in class merchandising design, materials and customer experiences

Purchase and Produce:

Partner with external suppliers and strategic sourcing partners to negotiate; purchase and manage manufacturing and distribution of merchandisers, graphics, props and displays for multiple versions of retail environments in accordance with company compliance practices

Drive Operational Excellence:

Search for ways to improve the client experience by exploring ways to improve store execution

Independently anticipate and meet store needs when it comes to operational execution of in-store materials

Ensure stores are supported and issues are resolved within our service level agreements through our internal store support system (Hotline Online)

Work to maintain accuracy of data that informs assets version on distribution lists

Apply expertise in ways that are unique and innovative to create successful workflow processes and be eager to explore new ways of working

Ensure flawless execution by providing accurate distribution information and supporting store requests

Experience:

4+ years in a program, project or production manager or visual merchandising role within a retail advertising or marketing organization

Day to day use of Creative Suite, MS Office and Smartsheet or similar for budget and schedule tracking

Proven track record of implementing successful visual merchandising strategies that drive sales and positive customer experience

Experience with vendor engagement; purchase and procurement processes in a corporate environment

Experience with single project-based budget management including forecasting; evaluating estimates and awarding work

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising; Design, Communications, Marketing or related field

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.64 to $54.05 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
