Job Summary:
Responsible for the oversight and coordination of all aspects of Marketing Events & Promotions.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist with the design and implementation of all on and off-site marketing programs, promotions and special events for increasing casino revenues. Maintains Promotions and Special Events inventory Enters and maintains all Promotions and Special Events orders into purchasing system Proactively works with Marketing leadership to ensure design of promotions and events meet operational and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the creation and communication of promotional/event rules, operational plan as necessary, execution and communication of post-event expenses . Accountable for an ongoing schedule of targeted promotions and events as outlined in the property Marketing Plan. Promotions and events could include, but are not limited to drawings, giveaways, VIP level dinner events, tournaments and entertainment. Design, create, and execute all Promotions and Events collateral needs including vouchers, table signage, and tickets. Accountable for providing regular and consistent feedback and direction that ensures strategic objectives are met. Responsible for the Promotions and Events build(s) in gaming system(s). Develop actionable improvements to promotions and events based on analysis and feedback from guests and team members. Assist in the execution of events and promotions from start to finish to ensure promotional rules are adhered to, smooth operational standards and guest satisfaction. Using independent discretion, address and resolve any Guest and Team Member questions, complaints or problems in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Determine when a problem needs to be escalated or use sound judgment to proactively resolve the matter. Actively participate in other Marketing projects as assigned. Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills. Conveys positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on the guest interaction. Communicate and coordinate with all necessary internal departments, including IT, Banquets, etc. for set-ups for promotions and events. Facilitates the timely flow of information throughout the property to Guests and Team Members of upcoming events and promotions through the use of notice boards, flyers, posters and other multimedia devices. Cross train Rush Rewards Team Members as necessary to assist with promotions and special events. Create, maintain and uphold Standard Operating Procedures as necessary for the successful implementation and execution of promotions and special events. Adhere to strict Compliance and regulatory policies. Complies with all company and departmental rules and procedures. Maintain open communications in order to keep the Manager informed of all pertinent information and/or irregularities. Must be a self-starter and have exceptional organizational skills. Demonstrates and upholds Company behaviors. Performs additional duties as directed. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred. Three years’ experience in promotions and/or special events. Prior experience in marketing preferred. Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
Gaming license/registration as required by the Virginia Lottery. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher, Power Point, Excel and Google Suite. Must possess excellent communications skills (verbal and written). Proven ability to uphold presentation/demeanor in stressful situations. Possess the ability to work under pressure of deadlines. Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing. Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust. Must be able to lift and/or move objects of 40 lbs.
