Curo Pet Care ("Curo") is looking for a Design Project Manager to join our Real Estate and Development team in our San Francisco HQ. This role will focus on the management and tracking of the design and development of our veterinary hospital facilities.
We are a team of successful entrepreneurs and doctors using our own capital to improve the veterinary industry. Our core focus is to provide the best hospital facilities to our medical teams in order to best serve our clients. Curo today is a family of over 50 independent veterinary hospitals, many of which have built new facilities or significantly renovated their existing clinics since acquisition. These practices are highly profitable and well-positioned for growth with strong support from the ownership team.
We are also rolling out an ambitious start-up hospital strategy, designing and constructing state-of-the-art veterinary facilities in the most desirable neighborhoods and communities on the West Coast. You will be at the center of coordinating this central growth strategy of the business. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Design, and will be an integral team member of the Real Estate and Development team.
As our Design Project Manager, you will be responsible for: * Design * Research planning and building permit requirements, including city review timelines. * Compare existing condition survey documents and photos against concept floor plans. * Standards Development * Assist in maintaining the Project Manual and Design Standard Manual to ensure consistency across all projects. * Collaborate with the Director of Design to maintain Revit templates and model Revit families. * Draft Design Development details for project implementation. * Project Management * Track the status of permits with AHJ (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), following up via email and phone as necessary. * Provide daily updates to the Director of Design on project progress. * Assist in construction documentation review and quality control * Construction Administration * Participate in OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) calls to facilitate seamless communication. * Review submittals to ensure alignment with the Project Manual and Design Standard Manual.
Desired qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience with construction documentation. * Proficiency in Revit, Autocad, and Adobe Creative Suite. * Excellent administrative and organizational skills: detail-oriented, time-sensitive, and ability to adapt quickly. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. * Able to work collectively with a team, manage a team and be a team player. * Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. * Positive attitude, and pleasant to work with. * Experience working in the veterinary or healthcare industry is a plus.
