Meta is looking for a writer to assist with executive briefing and writing. This role will be responsible for drafting prep materials ahead of [a top executive's] media interviews, podcasts, and creator conversations and will also be tasked with drafting and editing scripts and blog and social posts. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio of material that proves an ability to convey nuanced ideas about products and policies in clear, concise, and elegant prose. An ability to communicate complex concepts in simple language is crucialand proven deadline writing is critical. We're looking for a team player who can partner closely with cross-functional partners to develop messaging and also serve as a writing resource for the core team.

Executive Communications Associate, Writer Responsibilities

Draft briefing materials to prepare top executive for interviews with media, creators, and other public figures Draft video scripts for partner events that highlight how our companies are working together Act as a resource for other writers and colleagues working on executive projects Work with internal communications partners to draft prep materials ahead of Company Q&As and other employee-focused moments Partner with creative team to help guide visual assets that compliment scripts Minimum Qualifications

BA in journalism, communications or a related field 3+ years in a copyeditor, speechwriter or writer role in tech, politics, media or business Proven research and analytical skills Experience managing multiple projects at once Experience creating and drafting statements on tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications

Experience distilling complex technology or policy issues into simplified language

$35.10/hour to $107,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
