Are you an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in payroll processing? We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to join our team in Littleton, Colorado! This onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has expertise in payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Payroll Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.

• Payroll Processing: Manage biweekly payroll for 16 employees across 3 states using ADP.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries, ensuring transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger.
• Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations to ensure payroll expenses align with financial records.
• Internal Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for any payroll related inquiries.
• Compliance & Audits: Support payroll audits, maintain compliance with tax regulations, and assist the Controller with reporting requirements.
• Ad Hoc Accounting Support: Support the accounting team as needed (month-end close support, reconciliations, journal entries, etc.)

• 5+ years of payroll experience (ADP experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus!
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll data with discretion.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience supporting audits is a plus.
