Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Employee is responsible for the continuing of the monthly general ledger entries, preparation.
• General ledger monthly closing
• Monthly analyzation and preparation of financial documents to provide guidance to accounting leadership
• Oversee transactions and reconciliations for grants
• Manages allocation records
• Cash flow compiling and analyzation
• Prepares for annual audits (gathering journal entries and other documents)
• Performs sales and tax filings for organization
• Ability to assist in new system implementations
• Strong desire to learn and develop

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field (Accounting/Finance is preferred but not required)
• Between 2-5 years in accounting field
• Prefers U.S. GAAP understanding
• Proficient in Excel ( Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, SUMIFS etc.…)
• NetSuite a HUGE plus!
