This role will design and implement communications and marketing strategies to build more community awareness about Re-use Hawaiʻiʻs programs and the circular economy. Results from marketing efforts are to increase mission fulfillment and program revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Develop communications and marketing strategies into a written plan.
- Manage social media strategy including content creation, production, and replies.
- Handle the organization's website and updates.
- Coordinate media outreach and PR coverage and occasionally conduct community presentations at events.
- Create newsletters, e-broadcasts, brochures, flyers, signage, and more.
- Share organization's mission fulfillment metrics with the community.
- Supervise video production and eCom systems.
- Collaborate with key staff members on sales, promotions, client feedback, and events.
- Manage Google Ads and Business accounts.
- Lead internal communications and staff training on organization's talking points.
- Maintain branding consistency and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Mentor occasional communication assistants and specialists.
- Stay updated on marketing trends and community needs.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in social media and marketing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with various teams and lead projects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Annual Salary of $40,000 (paychecks weekly, hourly non-exempt position)
- 40 hours per week
- Optional hybrid remote work
