Scopely is looking for a VP of Marketing to join a new cross-platform original IP title in the US (preferably Los Angeles) on an in-person/hybrid or remote basis.

What You Will Do
The VP and Head of Marketing is the lead marketer in the organization for their game title and is ultimately responsible for crafting and overseeing delivery on category-winning marketing strategies. You’ll be focused on leading marketing for an exciting in-development cross-platform new title, which means being involved early in the game’s development.
Lead the creation of the holistic Marketing strategy for a new cross-platform title at Scopely. You will research, define and articulate the best path and plan to achieve the audience growth goals for your game(s). This includes:
- Branding, Positioning, Alignment and USP(s).
- Developing a cutting-edge GTM strategy factoring in community development, user acquisition, content creators and brand building.
- Leading the definition and evolution of the overall creative marketing strategy for the game.
- Incorporating best available marketing, competitor and insights research.
- Developing a strong community program which should include building the community, engaging with them and bringing them along on the development journey.
- Be the marketing advocate and partner to the game developers in the studio.
- Design, build and nurture a team of skilled and highly capable Marketers under you.
- Work hand-in-glove with our talented marketing teams and departments.
- Manage executive communications for all marketing and GTM efforts.
What We’re Looking For
This role requires someone who can bring together the art and science of modern-day Free-2-Play (F2P), PC/Console and Mobile game marketing, with the ability to support a title across multiple hardware platforms.
- 10-12+ years of experience leading and running marketing strategies and teams for successful X-Platform F2P titles.
- Hands-on experience bringing new X-Platform or PC/Console F2P games to market.
- Ability to adapt and evolve traditional console/PC marketing to be more data and community-driven.
- Experience partnering with Product leaders to position new features for our players.
- A passion for leveraging best-known methods around Influencer and Community-oriented marketing programs.
- A truly committed team player, you’re someone who knows how to partner across teams and functions.
- A track record of developing, testing and establishing innovative marketing strategies.
- Strong foundations in sound Marketing analytics and testing methods.
- Great understanding of the mobile and performance marketing landscape.
- An excellent communicator, especially at the executive level.
Bonus Points
- Previous experience managing influencer and/or community-centric acquisition programs.
- Global experience - You’ve adapted and optimized strategies for different markets.
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $255,000 - $280,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, and unlimited paid time-off.
