Objectives:
• Increase brand awareness, maintain good reputation and enhance trust of BASF among relevant public.
• Provide value added Brand & Marketing Communication service to business and functional teams, to support business growth in Greater China (GC).
Main Tasks:
• Lead and evolve Kids' Lab program to a multiple stakeholder platform in China and continue to drive year-over-year increase on engagement among participants. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage multiple tasks to ensure the successful execution of the Kids Lab events across GC within a two-month timeframe.
- Drive the partnership with leading museums in China, navigating a matrix reporting structure and addressing their diverse requirements timely and effectively.
- Source and train student tutors for each station to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
- Efficiently oversee and coordinate with external agencies to deliver projects successfully within allocated budgets and timelines.
- Facilitate the internal resources to develop the new experiments for the program.
- Create a platform that actively engages key stakeholders of BASF in China, including employees, authorities, customers, media, NGOs, and the local community.
• Act as an independent and trustworthy advisor to business and functional teams, offering professional support for brand and marketing communication activities.
• Display an extensive and deep understanding of BASF's brand architecture and provide guidance to management and local business teams on its proper usage.
• Effectively manage project-based requirements from units or sites, ensuring the timely delivery of professional services with high quality.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related areas
• 5+ years working experience in public relations, market communications
• Demonstrates a strong ability to effectively influence others
• Excellent creative and conceptual abilities (planning, analytical, client and goal oriented)
• Major focus on value driven branding approach and on customer relationship management and cultivation (creation of concept, execution, ability to align with guidelines and timing, manage budgets)
• High commitment and willingness for working hands-on
• Flexibility to travel within Greater China
• Excellent Chinese and fluent English language verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of basic computer programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Webmaster)#J-18808-Ljbffr
