We are seeking a communications manager to join Intuit’s employee communications team. This individual will be responsible for driving and supporting best-in-class internal communications programs that inform, engage, and galvanize Intuit’s employees around the most critical priorities of our People and Places organization. The role requires a highly creative professional with strong operational rigor who can help us deliver innovative, end-to-end communications strategies that achieve business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define our P&P content strategy, including the editorial pillars and content series, to drive a more proactive strategy that supports ongoing awareness and engagement for P&P priority work versus only moment in time.
- Drive a weekly editorial calendar and newsroom approach to P&P storytelling to identify trends and moments that enable us to tell more compelling and relevant stories.
- Leverage data and insights to understand channel effectiveness and define a channel strategy that enables us to reach and engage employees across internal platforms.
- Support the production of P&P All Hands meetings, which occur 6x per year, including logistics and coordination across ops, design, and tech partners.
- Drive the creative direction and production of P&P visual content, including being the lead storyteller and editor for the #IntuitLife series and producing the P&P on the Street video for the All Hands.
- Be the managing editor of Manager Memo, including gathering content and managing internal reviews, as well as delivering it via Mailchimp and tracking those metrics regularly.
- Lead operating mechanisms and processes to amplify the work of the team, including contributing to org-wide reporting efforts, tracking metrics and insights for P&P comms, and driving rigor around messaging documents and plans, including keeping the team Google Drive up to date so that we can drive consistency and scale.
- Collaborate across the communications organization to contribute to important initiatives that accelerate the organization’s collective impact.
- Monitor industry trends and bring outside-in perspectives that enable us to continuously innovate and move our communications programs forward.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in communications, ideally within the technology sector.
- Ability and eagerness to travel to Intuit sites, including our MTV HQ regularly.
- A reputation for being a self-starter, innovative, enthusiastic, and intellectually curious.
- Strong collaborator, with an ability to work across teams to help deliver on outcomes.
- Operational rigor with an ability to think proactively and drive operating mechanisms with strong attention to detail.
- Fundamental skills in graphic design and visual storytelling to be able to support the creation of quick graphics, videos, or slides.
- A progressive approach to communications, with an appetite to embrace existing and emerging tools and technologies to engage employees in the most relevant and impactful ways.
