Job Description:

The role of a Mail and Print Coordinator involves managing the flow of mail, packages, and print orders. This includes sorting, distributing, and processing incoming mail, as well as preparing outgoing mail according to postal regulations.

In addition, this position assists with creative services, including taking customer orders, assisting customers, moving boxes and equipment, operating computers and computerized equipment, completing forms, sorting and collating papers, and communicating effectively with team members.

The coordinator works closely with the Print Coordinator to maintain adequate departmental supplies and performs various basic administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage mail and shipping services, ensuring timely delivery and completion dates.
  2. Produce copies and electronic files as needed to complete projects.
  3. Prioritize workflow and perform multiple tasks simultaneously using automatic equipment capabilities.
  4. Maintain security and confidentiality of sensitive materials, adhering to copyright law and careful handling of original documents.
  5. Assist with stock and supplies inventory, receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail, and preparing outgoing mail according to USPS postal regulations.
  6. Receive and deliver incoming freight, maintaining funds in postage meter.
  7. Substitute for other departmental employees as needed.
  8. Participate in departmental documentation and process improvement efforts, demonstrating understanding of the position's role in campus semester plans, standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, etc.
  9. Complete all mandatory training and participate in a minimum of two professional development opportunities per year.
