We are looking for an Associate Director of Learning Design who will bring a strategic vision to the role, coupled with an operational excellence that drives significant learning impact within IT. This pivotal role entails leading Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives that are in harmony with organizational IT strategies. The individual will develop and execute communication plans tailored to diverse audiences, and rigorously assess the effectiveness of training programs to optimize learning outcomes using instructional design principles and adult learning theories to effectively bridge knowledge and performance gaps. Furthermore, the role demands proficient management of multifaceted projects and the cultivation of strong vendor relationships to support organizational goals. The Associate Director will also drive team excellence by providing expert coaching and fostering a culture of collaboration. The Associate Director of Learning Design will own leading a team delivering learning solutions that utilize instructional design, cognitive psychology, and/or adult learning theory to address and resolve knowledge or performance gaps effectively. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of how organizational capabilities are interconnected across various departments. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership : Lead and motivate teams to achieve both individual and collective objectives, employing a robust background in success-oriented coaching. Strategic Alignment : Ensure that Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives are aligned with the overarching IT and people strategy, focusing on the growth and enhancement of IT associates. Program Evaluation : Design and implement a robust framework for measuring and evaluating the impact of training programs on business outcomes. Communication Excellence : Develop and deliver multi-modal communications that effectively reach diverse audiences, ensuring both clarity and engagement. Project Management : Oversee multiple complex projects concurrently, prioritizing timely and efficient delivery to optimize the learning experience. Vendor Partnership Management : Cultivate and maintain vendor relationships that bolster the organization’s educational objectives and significantly enhance associate development. Required Qualifications You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role. Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a corporate learning and development environment. 5+ years of experience leading through influence and getting results by working collaboratively with impacted stakeholders. 4+ years developing and executing learning programs that align to business outcomes. 3+ years of experience building and delivering executive-level reporting and communication. 3+ years of experience with learning development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Products, Vyond, Wellsaid Labs, etc.) and LMS (e.g., Cornerstone on Demand). A highly flexible communication style; excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and/or projects. Flexibility navigating change in a fast-paced environment. A personal commitment to providing an exceptional Associate Growth & Development experience. Ability to cultivate, enhance and leverage vendor partnerships to support IT's learning outcomes. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences. Preferred Qualifications Big 4 or similar consulting experience. Master's degree in Business Administration, Learning and Performance, Adult Learning, Human Resources, Organizational Design or related field. Experience working in a healthcare and/or an insurance setting. Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD).
