Full Time Benefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Dental insurance Free food & snacks Paid time off Responsibilities: Produce graphics for use in NOAA publicity materials for the agency’s website, social media channels, and print publication. This includes designing fact sheets, slide decks, event invitations, email banners, social media graphics, and more. The design process should include an early scoping meeting with an Office of Communications team member where direction and feedback can be solicited, and time built in for final artwork review and approval. Produce complex visualizations, such as infographics, that display complex scientific data and technical concepts in a visually appealing way. Other complex projects include designing digital artwork files that can be folded into video and animation projects or can be incorporated on physical NOAA exhibits or museum placards. All graphics should be styled in accordance with agency branding guidelines and comply with federal 508 compliance rules, including writing alt text for accessibility. Minimum Requirements: Required experience utilizing Adobe suite of products, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere.
