As a Meta Technical Writer, you will be part of a team responsible for the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of content for internal AI technologies. You will conduct hands-on research and obtain necessary technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise, structured documentation. This may mean documenting something yourself, editing contributed content from someone else, or at other times, fixing and reorganizing existing documentation. In addition, you may also have opportunities to code and project manage for various documentation requests.

Documentation Engineer/Technical Writer, AI Infrastructure Responsibilities:

Create and maintain internal and external documentation for technologies and tools used within Meta. Work closely with engineering, product, design, and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content you create and develop. Design, create, and edit technical and process documentation. Create and maintain code sample fragments and sample applications, as needed. Navigate through multiple platforms such as web, iOS, and Android. Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry or equivalent experience. 4+ years experience in technical content creation, technical documentation including code documentation, and/or developer outreach for a developer audience or equivalent experience. 2+ years experience with a programming language such as JavaScript, Objective-C, Java, PHP, Python, etc. Experience creating highly usable technical content, including proofreading, editing, and testing content. Experience producing and organizing content with a logical flow. Experience with authoring tools such as XML, HTML, Markdown, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience programming, using the command-line, trying out user interfaces, and working with prototype hardware in test environments. Experience managing projects with multiple deadlines. Experience planning, prioritizing, and executing against large, technically-complex projects. Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge about AI/ML technologies. Background in Data Science.
