Description: • This role offers an entrepreneurial opportunity in a high-demand data center market, focusing on the fit-out of white space for data center operators, colocation providers, and end users. • The position involves comprehensive project management, covering physical infrastructure, structured cabling, power distribution, space planning, and climate control systems. • The selected candidate will lead projects in the region and should be open to travel as necessary. The role requires engagement with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution. Travel may range from 50% to 70%, primarily within the Western United States. Travel reimbursement is provided. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits, professional training, and performance-based incentives.
Required Skills: • 3 to 7 years of experience in data center infrastructure design and construction project management. • Proven ability to manage client expectations and maintain project documentation, including scope, budgets, schedules, and billing. • Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, including power distribution and structured cabling. • Experience managing mid-sized data center fit-outs in colocation environments.
Desired Skills: • Strong comprehension of technical design documents, including plans, sections, and elevations. • Established relationships with industry vendors or data center operators. • Experience in project estimation and proposal development with corporate support. • Knowledge of bid documentation and contractor selection processes. • Certifications such as RCDD, BICSI DCDC, CDCDP, or PMP are a plus.
Compensation: Pay Range: $122500K-$175000K
