Below, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck. JP Health Team’s mission is to continuously improve the health outcomes of each Amazon.co.jp customer by reinventing the healthcare experience to be more convenient and accessible. JP Pharmacy’s North Star vision is to be the premier place for JP customers to safely, securely, and conveniently purchase prescription medicines online, making it as common as purchasing other products online.

This is a new business domain in JP Marketplace and requires a brand-new online experience for both customers and sellers. There are many business problems for which the product strategy is not well defined yet, and innovation is the key towards our north-star vision. As a Senior UX Designer, you will work closely with the business team, product team, and tech team to lead/build the end-to-end experience through the design process, balancing quantitative/qualitative data, business objectives, and technical considerations. You will be a key voice in designing the future of JP Pharmacy and bringing it to life.

Key Job Responsibilities

Own the customer/seller experience from beginning to end and ensure product/feature is built to spec and achieves project goals. Operate with significant autonomy and deliver UX solutions independently for problems with large scope, complexity, and ambiguity. Use diverse inputs — customer feedback, research findings, metrics — to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations, and translate them into actionable insights and design solutions. Strategize and design customer-centric experiences by understanding the intersection of customer needs, business requirements, and technical constraints. Quickly and iteratively create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups with detailed visual design specifications throughout the design process. Contribute to UX design best practices while continually advocating for design thinking, and craft throughout the JP Health team.

Minimum Requirements

Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes. Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps. Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards. Experience designing customer-facing retail products. Experience in delivering design solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
