Boldist is seeking a doubly daring UI Designer based in Orlando, FL About the Role: This is a contract position (part-time in-office) that could expand to full-time for the right candidate. You'll be the sole designer, working directly with a product owner to bring complex app interfaces to life. About You: You're a craftsman. Or craftswoman. You dream in type, and bad user experiences make you anxious, angry, and sad. Thats because youve got a good eye for design, or two, and the ability to take even the best user experience and make it better. You get it - before you know what IT is. Youre responsible. You have a superpower for design that helps users find their way through websites. You create with the precision of an Olympic archer. You leave no detail to attend for itself. You have a thirst that has you improving yourself so much your past self looks up to your current self and says, Wow, nice work On top of having the courage of a tiger, you have strengths in the following areas UX/UI Design

- Creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that balance form and function Typography

- There is more to the web than Verdana, and you know it. Figma Mastery

- Advanced skills in component creation, design systems, and prototyping Attention to Detail

- You dont sweat the big stuff because you pay attention to the small stuff. Organization

- If there was a naming convention, you would be there. Communication

- You like showing your team how talented you are with frequent updates Other

- You have more skills. Let us know what they are. Your Toolbox: Hands-on experience with design software, including (you guessed it) Figma The ability to communicate with and design from wireframes An understanding of cross-platform responsive patterns Consistency to brand web standards and guidelines An understanding of the design possibilities of web technologies, mobile platforms, and eCommerce solutions Experience with design systems and component libraries Proficiency with other design tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.) Understanding of development constraints and possibilities Accessibility abilities Familiarity with user testing and feedback implementation Requirements: 2-3 years of professional UX/UI design experience Strong portfolio demonstrating, at the risk of repeating ourselves, UX/UI work Degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience) Availability to work part-time in our Orlando office (hybrid arrangements available for exceptional candidates)(no, you cant change our mind, were sorry) A creative mind with a positive outlook on life About Us: We're a digital design studio founded in 2008.
