About the Team: Creators are the heart and soul of TikTok. The Creator team's mission is to facilitate our Creator community's growth and development, drive high quality content production and increase creator engagement and product adoption through scaled content and education programs. This team creates scalable initiatives to build, celebrate, and recognize our diverse and inclusive communities around the world.
About the Role The Creator Sentiment team is responsible for being the one source of truth on creator perception towards TikTok across all regions. This role focuses on expanding a global creator research framework to drive strategic insights and ensure the platform remains the preferred destination for creators. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable research initiatives, gather actionable creator feedback on product features, and support regional teams.
Responsibilities - Strengthen and expand the global creator research framework, ensuring its alignment with organizational goals. - Serve as a strategic thought partner by identifying gaps and opportunities to improve creator perception across regions. - Develop actionable plans to enhance creator sentiment by championing their needs and advocating across cross-functional (XFN) teams. - Innovate methods for proactive data collection and implementation, integrating insights seamlessly into company workflows. - Lead efforts to gather creator feedback on priority product features and topics impacting creator sentiment across regions. - Collaborate with product adoption teams to align on market-specific priorities and research needs. - Design and execute comprehensive research plans to inform product and strategic decisions. - Equip regional teams with structured playbooks, frameworks, and resources to execute timely and effective product feedback initiatives. - Provide ongoing support to ensure consistency and quality in research practices across markets. - Partner with program teams to develop adaptable survey templates tailored to program-specific needs. - Maintain a repository of regularly updated questions to assess and improve program sentiment effectively. - Establish a robust process for measuring and tracking the impact of research efforts on product and strategic decisions. - Create systems for internal knowledge sharing and external communication with creators, ensuring feedback loops are closed and stakeholders are informed of changes driven by research insights.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Strong interpersonal, documentation, presentation, and communication skills - Extraordinary organizational skills with the ability to work cross functionally with other stakeholder teams and adapt narratives according to audience. - BS required, MS/MA/MBA considered a plus.
Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years working experience ideally working with the creator and content ecosystem, ideally with experience at other top content, entertainment and social media/influencer platforms or companies or relevant industries - Ability to develop scalable frameworks and approaches - Highly collaborative with experience working in a cross-functional environment as a consensus builder across disparate business units with occasionally conflicting KPIs
