First State Building & Design is a leading remodeling company that provides full design and build services for both exteriors and interiors. We are a fast growing company, who requires a strong marketing director to lead the marketing division.

Marketing Director Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our marketing department, guiding and supervising our marketing support while creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drives growth, lead generation and brand awareness. Key Responsibilities


Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities and brand.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for products and services that comply with current company standards.
  • Plan and execute campaigns for product and service promotions, lead generation and more.


Team Leadership:

  • Supervise the marketing department, providing guidance and feedback to marketing professionals. Company goal to have a (3) person marketing team.
  • Develop the marketing team, including digital, web, and analytics.
  • Utilize project management system to monitor and meet priority project completions.


Market Analysis & Research:

  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of trends and competitor marketing movements.
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget to determine profit margins and campaign effectiveness.
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market.


Brand Management:

  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers.
  • Build brand awareness and positioning and develop promotions.


Budget Management:

  • Set, control and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources to various projects.


Collaboration & Decision-Making:

  • Collaborate with other company leadership positions to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company.
  • Work with both sales departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that retain current clients and attract new customers.


Content & Event Management:

  • Produce valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design, and publications.
  • Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
  • Create a calendar of events and campaigns, coordinating marketing efforts with other teams.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the company’s representative to external parties such as media, stakeholders, and potential clients.
  • Build relationships with key partners and stakeholders and develop strategic partnerships.


Performance Monitoring:

  • Monitor progress and submit performance reports.
  • Develop and implement a yearly marketing strategy to support ongoing business growth.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Marketing Director or similar leadership role and in digital marketing.
  • Direct experience in home renovation industry a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of marketing and web analytics tools (i.e. Google Adwords, Google Analytics, NetInsight, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Experienced in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Adept at leveraging data-driven insights to optimize SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media campaigns.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate that leads to customer acquisition.
  • Ability to develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness.
  • Strong knowledge of market analysis, marketing strategies, and brand management.
  • Proficient in marketing software, software tools, marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in utilizing CRM software – knowledge and use of HubSpot is required.
  • Experienced with optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Familiar with financial planning and strategy.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ability to prepare regular reports on marketing metrics to present to company leadership.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
