About the role

As a junior graphic designer at Sugar23, Inc, you will work closely with the brand team and senior executives to develop visually engaging materials for various projects. You’ll have the chance to build on your existing skills and gain exposure to a range of styles and techniques. We encourage creativity, initiative, and ownership over your projects.

What you'll do

  1. Assist in the creation of various deck presentations for both Sugar23 internal use and external use.
  2. Assist in creating other graphic design assets, including social media visuals, email templates, website assets, and more. Support the team in brainstorming, conceptualizing, and executing design concepts.
  3. Revise and refine designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.
  4. Ensure all designs adhere to brand standards and are consistent across different media.
  5. Prepare final files for production, ensuring that designs are print-ready or optimized for digital use.
  6. Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

  1. 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience, either through full-time work or internships.
  2. Entertainment experience, or entertainment interest preferred.
  3. Proficient in Canva; experience with other design tools is a plus.
  4. A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative process.
  5. Understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  6. Basic knowledge of web design and digital formats (HTML, CSS, etc. is a bonus, but not required).
  7. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  8. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to take direction.
