Job Title:
Assistant, Creative Sync, Brand Partnerships & Licensing
A little bit about our team:
Our Los Angeles-based team is responsible for securing placements and brand partnership deals for Atlantic Music Group frontline artists and songs in film, TV, new media, video games, sports, and commercials in order to bring in master licensing and brand partnership deals, as well as promote frontline artists to benefit the overall company. We are looking for an assistant to support the department.
Your role:
You’ll work in an exciting and fast paced environment while learning the ins and outs of creative sync, sync licensing, brand partnerships, and creative pitching. You will get to see firsthand how a major label operates and works with frontline recording artists from Atlantic Music Group.
Here you’ll get to:
Create and design digital e-blasts and marketing materials to be distributed to partners weekly
Compile and maintain department’s asset library including various audio files, writer/publisher information and metadata, lyrics, artwork, etc. by coordinating with various departments including Marketing, Business Affairs, A&R and A&R administration
Track requests and confirmations for uses across all media
Provide administrative support to the team, including but not limited to answering phones, rolling calls, managing calendars, booking travel, processing expense reports, welcoming visitors, etc.
Update and maintain the department’s contact and distribution lists, release schedules, rosters, internal reports, and various documents
Attend marketing meetings and communicate key release and project info with the sync team
Coordinate music advances for sync team and partners
Review industry trades daily, follow and flag key projects
Maintain and update database of film and TV production schedules
About you:
You have excellent verbal communication skills and maintain professionalism at all times
You are a self-starter, self-motivated, and take responsibility/ownership of tasks
You keep calm under pressure
You are a hard worker for whom no task is too small
You are highly organized and very detail oriented
You will thrive in a lively office environment and can multi-task and prioritize extremely well
You demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
You anticipate needs and create efficient and effective processes
You handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
You are proficient with Google Docs, Microsoft Excel and Word
We’d love it if you also had:
Previous industry or educational experience in sync licensing, music supervision, an internship or administrative position in the entertainment Industry
A thorough understanding of sync licensing and publishing
A passion for music, film, television, and entertainment
You enjoy going to concerts, making playlists and sharing music with friends
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Salary Range
$19.23 to $20.51 Hourly
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
