Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for the planning and successful execution of live audio/visual events, in multiple capacities including the following roles: audio/video operator, support technician, technical director, warehouse support / oversight, driver.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Professionally represent CEP.
- Works as an on-site audio/visual technician.
- Works as an on-site technical director.
- Be well educated on audiovisual equipment and capabilities.
- Actively assist in building, growing and protecting the CEP brand and internal staff culture.
- Issues written and oral instructions.
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
- Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
- Adjusts errors and complaints.
- Drives trucks / vans.
- Pulls equipment from shelf storage and safely / securely loads it onto a truck, ensuring that nothing is missed from the event’s needs.
- Accurately receives in and “quality-checks” all equipment coming from an event to ensure its readiness for the next event.
- Maintains overall organization of storage / office space.
- Supports the rest of the office through general support tasks (i.e. emptying trash, basic cleaning, etc).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
