Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for the planning and successful execution of live audio/visual events, in multiple capacities including the following roles: audio/video operator, support technician, technical director, warehouse support / oversight, driver.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Professionally represent CEP.
  2. Works as an on-site audio/visual technician.
  3. Works as an on-site technical director.
  4. Be well educated on audiovisual equipment and capabilities.
  5. Actively assist in building, growing and protecting the CEP brand and internal staff culture.
  6. Issues written and oral instructions.
  7. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
  8. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  9. Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
  10. Adjusts errors and complaints.
  11. Drives trucks / vans.
  12. Pulls equipment from shelf storage and safely / securely loads it onto a truck, ensuring that nothing is missed from the event’s needs.
  13. Accurately receives in and “quality-checks” all equipment coming from an event to ensure its readiness for the next event.
  14. Maintains overall organization of storage / office space.
  15. Supports the rest of the office through general support tasks (i.e. emptying trash, basic cleaning, etc).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
