Job Responsibilities:

The Global Community Manager is responsible for growing Razer’s community at an exponential rate through various content and engagement strategies. You are required to have your hands on the pulse of gaming, esports and social media (content, trends and influencers) to ensure Razer stays in the forefront of its social media game.

This role will have management responsibilities, such as mentoring and developing junior team members to be effective community and social media managers. Given the global nature of the position, this role may be required to work odd hours within reasonable arrangement, to ensure successful execution of its community efforts.

  • Manage the community team members to drive Razer’s global social media strategy (Discord, TikTok, X and Instagram) to grow its fanbase and its content engagement exponentially.
  • Be the thought-leader and mentor to junior marketers in reinforcing Razer’s brand approach to community engagement, along with exploring emerging social media platforms and trends to explore content opportunities.
  • Conceptualize, plan and execute Razer’s community campaigns and programs while working closely with content and influencer marketing counterparts globally.
  • Align community activation efforts closely with the greater organization through regular engagement with Global Business Units and Regions on business priorities and requirements.
  • Be a custodian of Razer’s social media persona and rules of engagement.
  • Regularly review social media performance and insights to keep the business and marketing organization up to date with market/industry trends and initiatives to ensure our initiatives are relevant and competitive.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or PR, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in community management or social media marketing.
  • Experience in building and managing social media (including content production) accounts for a brand - preferred.
  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English. Additional second language a plus.
  • Understanding of social media and livestreaming best practices, online marketing, and engagement techniques.
  • Have a good eye for creative content, and the ability to spot emerging social trends and identify gaming/pop-cultural references.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on generating business results.
  • Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
  • Must be a gamer.

Salary Ranges (per annum):

$71,760.00 - $119,600.00
