Corporate IndianapolisAs the Manager of Digital Content Marketing , you will lead the development and execution of our digital content strategies across key digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation and management, with a focus on driving brand awareness and audience engagement, specific to the retail or shopping center industries.
This position will lead a team of Digital Content Associates, develop and manage workflows, and actively participate in content production.
This role requires a keen awareness of social media trends, a passion for crafting compelling content, and strong analytical skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy: Lead content ideation and creation both independently and in partnership with internal creative teams and external agencies, ensuring high-quality, on-brand assets.
Community Management: Post, monitor, and engage with audiences across social media platforms.
Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of the curve on social media trends, competitive activity, and emerging platforms. Share relevant insights and recommendations to inform content strategy.
Quality Assurance:Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all content, conducting thorough reviews and edits before publication to key digital channels.
Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of our content, track KPIs, and continuously optimize based on performance.
Cross-Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Director of Digital Campaigns & the Influencer Marketing Manager to seamlessly integrate influencer activations into the social media strategy and content calendar.
Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Digital Content Associates and the tasks assigned to the Digital Content Team
Training and Development:Provide training and development for the local Field Marketing Teams, sharing best practices and strategies to enhance their digital expertise and ensure cohesive execution of digital content strategies (especially for Social Media content creation).
QUALIFICATIONS
- B.A. or B.S. in Marketing or related field
- 5+ years experience in digital content creation or social media management
- Previous management experience
- Strong understanding and interest in social media platforms and digital content trends
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Sprout Social, Monday.com, or similar tools
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging and shareable content
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
