Content Strategist: Associate Experience

Humana is looking for a Content Strategist to help us build effortless, meaningful, and delightful experiences for our employees. The ideal person for this role is a designer at heart with a key strength in writing and has a knack for organizing and creating cohesive, engaging content across various platforms. This role sits in our Associate Experience Product Team’s Design Center, which is part of Human Resources.
As Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the human centered design process, driving the strategic plans, and creating user-centric solutions for our digital products. Your expertise in content development will contribute to the design of compelling and functionally robust designs that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable content strategies that align with our goals to make measurable improvements across HR’s employee lifecycle.
- Audit current content, customer needs, process and compliance to identify communication gaps and recommend actionable next steps.
- Collaborate with and guide multiple partners like subject matter experts, Product Owners, Product Designers, Researchers, UX Designers, and technical teams to create content across multiple platforms and touchpoints, creating a seamless narrative that feels unified and cohesive across end-to-end journeys.
- Craft written content using the brand voice/tone that informs, engages, and delights our employees, contributing to an overall positive associate experience.
- Use customer feedback data to improve content delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional writing and organizational skills, with the ability to manage extensive content across diverse locations.
- Proven experience in content strategy, content design, and/or UX writing—particularly in creating integrated experiences in complex environments or for large organizations.
- Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design and/or service design methodologies, and their application in creating user-centered content.
- Adept at working collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to lead their work and adapt to best meet team or project needs.
- Ability to maintain a polite and formal tone, ensuring all communications are professional and resonate with our diverse employee base.
- Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work.
- 5+ years of content strategy or UX writing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with journey maps and service blueprints.
- Experience in Human Resources or internal communications within a large corporate setting.
- Familiar with digital content tools and platforms, and how they can be leveraged to enhance user experience.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and practices.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$86,300 - $118,700 per year.
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
