JOB DESCRIPTION

Creates, updates and revises sketches, working documents and contract documents using Geospatial (mapping) software, Adobe Acrobat or manual means to meet customer requirements. Prepares 2D and 3D models. Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements. Assignments will be completed utilizing information provided by the direction of a Design Manager. Requires familiarity with mapping techniques and engineering concepts and terminology. Able to read design, engineering drawing and blueprints. Prepares documentation to support design drawings. Will assist in Customer Packet creation which will be subject to billing, schedules, and assist with formal design department issues.

Assignments will be completed utilizing information provided by project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under the direction of a supervisor. Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology. Able to read engineering drawing and blueprints. Prepares documentation to support design drawings. Prepare bills of material, schedules, and assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.

Work Hours: The work hours are typically 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a slight variation of 7:30 AM to 4 PM if needed. Fridays are in the office, while Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday offer a hybrid schedule.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products.
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Attention to detail and self-motivation.
  4. Knowledge of Adobe and Bluebeam is a plus.
  5. Background in design, business, or accounting is beneficial.

Ideal Candidate Background
