Compensation Range: $30.00 - 32.50 per hour
We're looking for an expert Graphic Designer to create high-quality, professional PowerPoint presentations. You'll design graphics, charts, infographics, and animations, while adhering to brand standards and ensuring clarity in complex content. You'll collaborate with teams, manage tight deadlines, and apply your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite to enhance visual storytelling. Responsibilities:
- Work within PowerPoint, and are technically savvy and have experience with graphics, charts, infographics, color themes, animations, hyperlinking, transitions, and video within PowerPoint.
- Analyze messages and determine how content should be best designed, including type, colors, design, etc. to best achieve the overall goal. Interpret complex information and concepts and translate into easy-to-understand visuals.
- Be responsible for designing and producing high-quality, professional presentations efficiently and productively; creating and updating content-heavy PPT presentations for senior executives, marketing brand teams and internal cross-functional teams.
- Understand and interpret Brand Standards and Guidelines, including our Corporate Brand, as well as individual product brands, as required.
- Collaborate with teams on development and clarification of project scope, timeline, and budget, and share accountability in delivering against project requirements and client expectations.
- Consistently communicate with creative and project teams to drive presentation projects to completion, while maintaining ability to also work independently, often with little direction from clients, and engage and utilize resources when necessary.
- Develop effective presentation storytelling and engaging design to impress and exceed the expectations of our clients. Maintain awareness of current design trends, new techniques, and technology, and apply whenever possible.
- Anticipate project needs and proactively provide expertise and innovative solutions to meet them.
- Work quickly without compromising quality or design standards within a fast-paced environment.
- Provide timely and accurate information as project progresses, meeting deadlines, and aligning quality standards.
- Have a strong, positive, and professional work ethic and maintain productivity and consistency under pressure.
- Be able to efficiently prioritize and multitask to enhance productivity with high attention to detail within a highly dynamic work environment.
- Have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator and Acrobat.
Qualifications:
- Education + experience: Bachelor's degree in design or related discipline; 2+ years of experience working in a creative agency environment.
- Must have PowerPoint presentation experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint required; knowledge of Word, Excel, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; fluency in both PC and Mac environments, and maintain awareness of current design trends and new techniques and technology.
- Soft Skills: High degree of organization, attention to detail, and initiative to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment. Ability to absorb and respond to constructive feedback from clients and creative management; ability to turn projects around quickly as well as good problem-solving. Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
- Resume: Tailored resume that highlights skills and experience relevant to this role.
- Portfolio: Portfolio must include a variety of dynamic PowerPoint presentations that display slide transitions, animated elements, video, data visualization, and good typography. Present additional brand/design work if applicable.
- Working files: Bring working PowerPoint files and other creative digital work to on-site interviews and be prepared to walk us through your creative thinking and problem-solving solutions.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Experience creating graphics, charts, infographics, etc. within PowerPoint.
