POSITION: The Texas A&M University-Kingsville School of Music seeks a creative, collaborative, and dedicated pedagogue and scholar to serve as a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Music Education.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Music Education.
- Teach graduate courses in our summer music education program.
- Supervise and coordinate student teachers.
- Maintain a record of scholarly activity and make professional contributions to the field of music education.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and service activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate in Music Education
- A minimum of three years of successful secondary-level music teaching experience
- Evidence of excellence or potential for excellence in teaching music education courses at the collegiate level
- Scholarly activity and demonstrated potential for further professional growth
