BUSINESS ANALYST – MARKETING DEPARTMENT

A Brief Overview

Consolidate and analyze return on marketing and communications investment reporting for all products across multiple channels and businesses. Recommend optimizing resources (bank marketing and advertising budget) in media utilization and other communication channels. Consolidate, analyze, and disseminate information and data for the Marketing and Communications department. Consolidate and track the departmental budget and liaise with the accounting department on all budget matters. Analyze the budget and provide recommendations for cost control.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  1. Prepare quarterly and annual marketing and communications effectiveness reports, including the appropriate information gathered throughout the organization and Marketing Department sources.
  2. Consolidate, report, and analyze ROI indicators for all products across all lines of business. Make recommendations for better utilization of Bank resources.
  3. Consolidate and monitor the Marketing Department Budget, including preparing reports for the department head and reconciling them with the accounting department. Analyze and report on budget expenditures and advertising agency billing and provide recommendations for maximizing resources.
  4. Serve as the liaison between the Marketing and Corporate Compliance/Audit departments. This includes coordinating and managing information gathering and replies to all department audit requirements. Assist and reply to departmental compliance with routine questionnaires and requests by other departments and businesses of the Corporation.
  5. Perform other related tasks as needed.

  1. Specialized knowledge in the field of marketing and media.
  2. Management and analysis of numerical data.
  3. Experience in preparation of reports and presentations.
  4. Knowledge of budget management process.
  5. MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  6. Problem identification and solving skills.
  7. Write, speak and comprehend English and Spanish.
  8. Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  9. Strong analytic thinking capacity.
  10. Critical thinking capability.

What You’ll Need

  1. Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.
  2. 3 – 5 years’ experience and knowledge of the banking industry, its products and main competitors, including the Bank's organizational structure and its interrelationships.
  3. Computer literate: Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
