Our Boston-based agency client is looking for a UX Designer with 5+ years of experience for a project with their healthcare client; hours may fluctuate and this role will go through Summer 2025. You'll be asked to provide recommendations, best practices, and design layouts for data visualizations; industry experience with healthcare or nonprofit clients is ideal!

Job Description:

  • Identify pain points as well as defining product, generating hero concepts, building key wireframes, and designing end-to-end User Interface.
  • Generate an array of initial low-fidelity solutions (mockups, workflows & prototypes).
  • Share and collect feedback from stakeholders (i.e., business stakeholders, product team, dev team & customers).
  • Synthesize feedback and quickly iterate to refine solutions.
  • Produce high-fidelity mock-ups & prototypes.
  • Leverage UX metrics to drive design decisions and opportunities.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Design team in the agency.
  • Create extremely detailed user flows, product maps, wireframes, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders & external agency partners to form one team.
  • Conduct discovery to research existing and new features.
  • Create and implement intuitive customer experiences, interactions, and interfaces.
  • Evaluate existing sites and applications in terms of their usefulness, usability, efficient task completion, and layout.
  • Adhere and contribute to brand guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate and articulate across departments.
  • Work closely with 2 UX Designers on the team.
  • Prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality creative work, occasionally under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with strategy and research required for this role.

You will need:

  • 5+ years experience as a Web/UI Designer.
  • Expertise with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Sketch.
  • General understanding of user research techniques and their value in the design process.
  • Good typography and design skills.
