The Team
The Digital Communications team is part of the Strategic Communications organization. We are a small team of technical and creative experts who help turn written communications into well-designed, published materials on various
internal digital channels
(intranet, digital signs,
employee
email).

The Impact
As a multimedia designer on the Digital Communications team, you will be focused on internal, employee communications and you will; Collaborate with the communications team to develop multimedia content including graphics, interactive presentations, emails, and video.
U
se coding tools to create/edit HTML/CSS on
intranet
webpages and HTML email templates.
Perform creative concept development through brainstorming and idea
generation and provide design input on small and large projects.
Understand and visually interpret complex business concepts to develop innovative and creative communications deliverables.
U
se your organizational skills
to keep track of your workload in
our project management system
.
Demonstrate an ability to work under tight deadlines
while
maintaining
your attention to detail.
Make edits in our
content management system
,
add
ing
images
and code to
web pages as needed.
Ensure design consistency and quality across multiple channels.
Be willing to learn new tools and technologies to support communications channels.
Have
a
desire to
maintain
relevancy in the field by
monitoring
visual design and digital trends, and emerging technology and usability
trends
.
The Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with focus on graphic design or a related design focus and/or equivalent experience. 3+ years professional experience in a design role. 3+ years’ experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Dreamweaver), and other relevant tools. 2+ years’ experience working with both PC and Mac (note that working on a PC is often required for advanced PowerPoint and HTML email). 2+ years’ experience creating engaging PowerPoint presentations for high profile events and/or senior leaders. 2+ years’ experience in web design principles and HTML/CSS 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Office products for documentation, scheduling, and communication (Outlook, Word, Excel).
The Ideal Qualifications : 5+ years of professional experience in a design role Experience in financial services or a similar corporate environment Strong understanding of current design and technology trends. Ability to work independently and with teammates while fulfilling both concept/design and execution roles. Ability to work in a proactive, creative, and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to internal clients. A desire to learn and grow professionally and creatively. Familiarity with working with brand and style guides. Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign Familiarity with Figma Understanding of accessibility best practices as they pertain to digital design Experience with content management systems. Familiarity with responsive design Animation/motion graphic experience Usability research experience
